Automation Engineer - DeltaV

The Role

As a Senior DeltaV Engineer, you will be the technical heartbeat of the automation stream. You won’t just be coding; you’ll be ensuring the integrity of the process in a world‑class manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of DeltaV systems (Batch/S88).
• GMP Compliance: Ensure all work meets rigorous global regulatory standards, including detailed documentation and validation protocols.
• System Architecture: Develop and optimize control modules, graphics, and phase logic.
• Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q): Support onsite startup activities, troubleshooting complex hardware/software interfaces through to FAT/SAT.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the technical bridge between process engineering, QA, and external vendors.

What You Bring

• Experience: 10+ years of dedicated DeltaV experience. You’ve seen it all, from legacy systems to the latest versions.
• Industry Expertise: A proven track record within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sectors. You understand that in a GMP environment, the documentation is as important as the code.
• Full Lifecycle Proficiency: Experience taking a project from URS/FDS through to final site handover.
• Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of DeltaV Batch, SIS, and hardware integration.
• Location/Language: This is a 100% onsite role in Lyon.
