The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Authorised Person (AP) to support a major data centre construction project in Paris, France.

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified electrical professional with proven data centre experience to join a high-profile, mission-critical project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe operation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with site procedures and maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical safety procedures in line with site requirements and relevant regulations.
• Ensure safe systems of work are implemented for electrical activities.
• Support the isolation, switching and energisation of electrical systems in accordance with authorised procedures.
• Review and verify electrical permits, risk assessments and method statements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and other site personnel to ensure safe delivery of electrical works.
• Ensure electrical equipment and systems are operated and maintained in accordance with approved procedures.
• Monitor compliance with site electrical safety rules and elevate any safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of switching operations, isolations and associated documentation.
• Support commissioning activities and the safe handover of electrical systems.
• Previous experience working as an Electrical Authorised Person (AP).
• Demonstrable experience working on data centre or other mission-critical projects, with data centre experience essential.
• Completed High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) Authorised Person training within the last two years.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and current AP training certificates must be provided with your application.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures, isolations, switching and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction and commissioning environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to health and safety.
