Swiss Life France, located in Puteaux, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Senior to join its in‑house Internal Audit team. The role reports directly to the Internal Audit Director and will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Group’s risk and control framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit missions from planning to execution, including fieldwork and reporting.
• Identify, analyse and prioritise risks across all insurance operations (Life, Non‑Life, Savings, Distribution, support functions).
• Evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk‑management, and internal‑control mechanisms.
• Formulate actionable, high‑value recommendations tailored to operational needs.
• Contribute to the development of the multi‑year audit plan based on risk assessment.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Support the transformation of the audit function through data analytics, automation, and artificial‑intelligence initiatives.
• Share knowledge and support the professional development of the audit team across France and the Group.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 years experience in internal audit, external audit, or control functions (risk or compliance) within the insurance sector.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance business and processes (Life and/or Non‑Life).
• Strong analytical, structuring, and synthesis skills.
• Critical thinking and the ability to challenge stakeholders diplomatically.
• Excellent relational and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior executives.
• Interest in innovation, including data analytics, digital tools, and AI applications in audit.
• Knowledge of actuarial practices is an additional advantage.
• Experience working in an international environment and proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Educational Background

Higher education from a business school, engineering school or university with a specialization in insurance, finance or risk management.
