EASA B1 Support Staff – Customer Support & Services Directorate
We are seeking an experienced EASA B1 Support Staff to join our Customer Support & Services Directorate in the team led by Sylvain Fabregas. The role will involve leading aircraft repair operations with a team or providing technical assistance to customers, either at the main maintenance base in Francazal, France, or at global locations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in damage assessment following a major event
- Carry out inspections and certify work per work package within the scope of authorization
- Ensure all work complies with OEM requirements, approved methods, procedures, planning, and cost estimates
- Ensure work sheets, inspection schedules, logbooks, and maintenance records are properly completed and certified
- Ensure reported defects and rectifications are promptly reported and dealt with
- Ensure tools and equipment used during maintenance are in serviceable condition and that only approved materials and parts are used
- Ensure all technicians/apprentices follow safety practices and procedures at all times
- Provide support in maintaining tools and equipment
- Ensure safety of GSE equipment
- Travel frequently on site, variable duration up to 12 consecutive weeks
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of work experience with at least 5 years as a support staff on the ATR family
- Valid EASA Part 66 license with ATR 42/72 ratings for all types in Mechanical (B1); C rating considered an asset
- Type training on ATR 42/72 all types and currency for Fuel Tank Safety, HF, SMS, Refresher courses
- Negotiable English level
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Maintenance Information Systems (e.g., AMHOS, AMASIS, AD Software)
- Customer‑mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities, adaptable to varied field situations
- Proactive, autonomous, and capable of working alone or in a team
