Mission

Within the Working Parties department (Direction Customer Services), the candidate will be responsible for leading the repair of the aircraft with a team, or providing technical assistance to a customer, either at the main maintenance base in Francazal - France, or on a worldwide location. He/she will work in close collaboration with the Working Parties preparation department and various ATR technical departments involved in the working parties process.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the damage assessment following a major event
  • Carry out the inspection and certification of work as per work package within the scope of their authorization
  • Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with the requirements/recommendations of the OEM, in compliance with approved methods and procedures and in respect of the planning and the cost estimate
  • Ensure that all work sheets, inspection schedules, logbooks, maintenance records are properly completed and certified
  • Ensure that all reported defects and associated rectifications are promptly reported and dealt with
  • Ensure that tools and equipment used during maintenance are in serviceable condition and that only approved materials and parts are used
  • Ensure that all technicians/apprentices follow all relevant safety practices and procedures at all times
  • Support the maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Ensure safety of GSE equipment

Frequent travel off site (variable duration, up to 12 consecutive weeks)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a support staff on the ATR family
  • Holding a valid EASA Part66 License with ATR 42/72 ratings for all types in Mechanical (B1), and rating C (plus)
  • Type training on all ATR 42/72 types and currency for fuel tank safety, HF, SMS, refresher courses
  • English level negotiation
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Standard usage with Maintenance Information System (MIS) – e.g. AMHOS, AMASIS, AD Software
  • Customer minded and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate and adapt
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive and autonomous, able to work alone or in a team and adapt quickly to various situations in the field
