ATR - Ref - DOA Independant Monitoring Function Manager
Job Mission
The Independent Monitoring Function (IMF) team is responsible for the independent surveillance required by the Part 21.239(e) within the framework of the Design Management System (DMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, conducting, following up, and closing internal DOA audits.
- Performing regulatory watch.
- Maintaining the DOA Compliance CheckList.
- Managing and monitoring DOA signature delegations.
- Managing and analysing changes to the DMS.
- Maintaining the Design Organisation Handbook (DOH).
- Participating in EASA audits and ATR/EASA meetings with prior preparation.
- Leading training sessions to promote and maintain necessary regulatory and DOH knowledge within the Engineering department.
About You
- Field of Study : Engineering, Quality, Safety, Compliance.
- Experience :
- 5 – 10 years in the aerospace industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering or Quality.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in Part 21J management.
- Interface experience with authorities (EASA; local authorities are a minimum).
- Technical Skills :
- Part 21J management and training, approval management.
- Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Regulations, general aircraft physics and engineering.
- Qualified auditor; EN9100 & Part IS are a plus.
- Root Cause Analysis methodology (8D, Ishikawa diagrams, 5W).
- Soft Skills :
- Stakeholder management.
- Prioritisation and time management.
- Conflict resolution.
- Resilience and pressure management.
- Change management.
- Team spirit, pragmatism, and a focus on simplification.
- French and English proficiency.
