Propulsion System Integration Expert
Join ATR’s Propulsion & Air Systems team to manage and validate technical dossiers for propulsion system integration, including propeller, thermal engine, nacelle ventilation, and fire detection/extinguishing.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support propulsion system projects and design changes.
- Investigate in‑service events and propose mitigation or corrective actions.
- Validate technical deliverables such as specifications, Statements of Work, certification programs, means of compliance, and concessions.
- Encourage cross‑sharing of information within the propulsion team.
- Contribute to team development and knowledge sharing (product knowledge, processes, methods, tools).
- Lead updates to the propulsion system technology and tool roadmap.
- Support the team in setting schedules and budgets for activities.
- Meet operators to explain ATR technical decisions.
- Manage technical alignment with propulsion system suppliers and partners on complex subjects.
- Participate in international regulatory working groups.
- Contribute to the development of the ATR Expert community.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in aeronautics, aircraft systems, or propulsion.
- 10+ years of experience in propulsion system design, development, or integration.
- Good knowledge of CS/FAR 25, Part 21, and V&V processes.
- Team spirit, collaborative, open‑minded, and proactive.
- Rigor and ability to deliver clear and synthetic analyses.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Fluent in English and French; Italian is a plus.
- Ready to contribute to connecting communities and businesses by delivering high‑quality products and support.
