Responsibilities
- Manage the warehousing services provider (LSP) to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and key performance indicators (SLAs, OTD, OQD, claims, cost, activity continuity, volume, etc.).
- Organize and lead regular business reviews (weekly/monthly).
- Oversee logistics standard operating procedures.
- Problem‑solve to close performance gaps and support global sustainability and operational targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects to optimise quality, costs and efficiency, collaborating with the service provider on improvement plans.
- Serve as the focal point for all warehouse‑related topics and provide daily support to other support functions (order follow‑up, blockage resolution, etc.).
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by collaborating with service providers, optimising processes and leveraging IT systems.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehousing operation management, preferably in the aviation/aerospace industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Technical skills / knowledge
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in logistics.
- Experience in managing contracts with logistics service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance metrics.
- IT proficiency: familiarity with logistics management systems such as TMS, WMS, EDI (XML file exchange, webservice), MS Office, SAP R3 WM/MM modules, SAP BW, and Power BI.
- Soft skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners in English and French.
- Fluency in English and French.
