ATR - Logistics Operation Manager
Job Summary
ATR, a joint venture between Airbus and Leonardo, is a global leader in regional aviation. We seek a Logistics Operations Manager to lead and optimise global spare‑parts logistics activities within the Customers Support and Services department, working in Nicolas’s team of six collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the warehousing services provider (LSP), ensuring full compliance with contractual commitments and key performance indicators (SLAs, OTD, OQD, claims, cost, activity continuity, volume).
- Organise and lead regular business reviews (weekly/monthly).
- Oversee logistics standard operating procedures.
- Problem‑solve to close performance gaps and support global sustainability and operational targets.
- Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and projects to optimise quality, costs and efficiency, collaborating with the service provider on improvement plans.
- Serve as the focal point for all warehouse‑related topics and provide daily support to other support functions (order follow‑up, blockage resolution).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyse process inefficiencies and conduct continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in supply‑chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehousing operation management, preferably in the aviation/aerospace industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Technical skills: familiarity with logistics regulations and standards; contract management experience with logistics service providers; proficiency in logistics management systems (TMS, WMS, EDI), MS Office, SAP R3 WM/MM modules, SAP BW and Power BI.
- Soft skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and French; Italian is a plus.
