We are looking for a Landing Gear referent to join our Engineering Directorate in Yoann\'s team. The mission spans the full lifecycle of landing gear systems, from feasibility phases to in-service support, and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and supplier networks.
Your Mission / Responsibilities
- Contribute to the certification of landing gear systems and equipment, covering all phases of product evolution including serial modifications and incremental developments.
- Lead and support in-service investigations, identify root causes, define corrective or mitigating actions, and produce associated risk assessments.
- Provide technical support to the ATR Customer Care Center and to the Final Assembly Line by addressing customer or production queries and delivering clear, accurate technical responses.
- Review and challenge supplier documentation, including technical reports and design change proposals, and provide structured feedback to ensure compliance and robustness.
- Develop methods, tools, and processes related to ATR landing gear systems, supporting both the in-service fleet and future aircraft developments.
- Drive technical decisions and take ownership of complex investigations with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
Qualifications
- Field of study: aeronautical or mechanical engineering
- Experience: at least 5 years in landing gear design, architecture or technical support
- Technical skills / knowledge: landing gear and hydraulics systems, design, certification and continued airworthiness processes
- Soft skills: excellent communication and negotiation, autonomous, curious, proactive, rigorous, detail-oriented, team player
- Languages: fluent in English and French (Italian a plus)
- Willingness to join ATR and contribute to connecting communities and delivering high-quality products and support
