We are looking for a Head of Product Marketing to join our Commercial Directorate. (Career Path: Managing & leading)

Mission

Within the Commercial Directorate, reporting to the Head of Marketing Department, your main mission will be to sustain the competitive advantage of ATR aircraft and their value contribution to airline profit by supporting Airline Marketing, Sales and Contracts. In supporting sales campaigns and communications you will act as a reference for ATR aircraft performance, environment, technical specifications, options catalogue, maintenance projections tool, competitor intelligence and positioning.

Leadership and Management

  • Lead a team of experts
    • Provide guidance and mentoring to the team including reviewing initial work outputs, discussing product value proposition and sharing product‑related intelligence.
    • Ensure the entire Product Marketing team uses the latest tools, methods and practices related to aircraft performance, operating costs, direct maintenance cost projection, options statistics and aircraft definition.
    • Ensure right competencies and knowledge transfer related to aircraft performance, airline economics (including maintenance costs), environment and sustainability, ATR and competitor aircraft cabin, system and propulsion.
    • Work closely with Engineering and Technical experts to ensure Product Marketing activities are managed in line with the Product Development state.
    • Produce monthly activities and KPI reports to monitor and promote team activity.

Expertise, Analysis, Build Content and Messages

  • Analyze competitive product on global market
    • Elaborate ATR product messages and ensure their consistency.
    • Align with Customer Services on service‑related messages.
    • Develop ATR product and services value proposition per operator segment.
    • Analyze customer data, needs and requirements and transfer them to foster product evolution requests.

Product Positioning, Promotion, Customization and Guarantee

  • Support Airlines Marketing, Sales and Contracts teams with product‑related topics in sales campaign activities
    • Ensure current product and future developments are correctly positioned and sustain competitiveness.
    • Proactively influence the market by promoting ATR product superiority and its latest developments.
    • Ensure customers understand ATR product competitive advantage.
    • Be accountable for building aircraft specifications in coordination with configuration management and contract negotiators.
    • Provide relevant data to draft and negotiate performance, weight and noise guarantees, and perform compliance analysis at delivery.
    • Accountable for Request For Change (RFC) process.
    • Manage Customer Experience Studio (customer guide, guide training, content updating).
    • Use Customer Experience Studio for ATR aircraft promotion, customization process and gathering customer feedback.
    • Participate in specific events and airshows to promote the product, influence the market and gather customer feedback.

About You

  • Minimum 5‑10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with at least 3 years in a commercial or operational role within an airline or airframe manufacturer.
    • Solid operational and commercial understanding of the regional air transport business, airline cost structure and market dynamics.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of aviation market key players, stakeholders, trends and drivers.
    • Aircraft customization, economics and performance knowledge.
    • Aircraft and airline cost structure knowledge.
    • Understanding of macro‑economic environment.
    • Technology awareness.
    • Marketing and communication: messaging, presentations.

Language Skills

  • High standard of fluently spoken and written English (compulsory); additional ability to communicate in French and/or other languages is desirable.

Soft Skills

  • Management: capability to animate, federate and develop the team around common objectives.
    • Adaptability: capacity to adapt new topics (technical, commercial, communication, service, tools), conduct research and understand main drivers to elaborate guidance.
    • Excellent presentation style and skills; experience in making presentation to large audiences and ability to communicate with different sources and users of information.
    • Customer orientation: ability to satisfy internal and/or external clients managing time and quality expectations.
    • Economic impact: ability to achieve objectives by integrating notions of time, quality and financial results.
    • Innovation: ability to use an innovative approach to create new product‑related approaches, solve problems and achieve goals.
    • Ability to influence decisions, internally and externally.
    • Good writing skills, ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
