Your Mission
ATR has strong ambitions regarding Environment and Sustainability. In order to support our environmental objectives, we are looking for an Environment Officer to:
- Lead and maintain the Environmental Management System and ensure the successful renewal of ATR’s ISO 14001 certification
- Define and drive the company’s eco‑design strategy
- Support and contribute to the sustainability roadmap
Main tasks and responsibilities
Environmental Management System
- Lead and continuously enhance the Environmental Management System (EMS) at corporate level and across all business processes, driving the deployment of the environmental roadmap
- Conduct environmental analyses and manage environmental impacts and risk prevention
- Carry out monthly/quarterly/annual reporting of environmental performance
- Lead internal and external audit programs in collaboration with the Quality department, and ensure robust follow‑up and closure of findings
- Prepare and facilitate environmental management reviews
- Define and create communication and awareness materials (internal and external)
- Maintain and manage environmental documentation
- Conduct employee awareness activities to develop a company‑wide environmental culture
- Coordinate and energise the environmental network in close collaboration with Quality and Health & Safety teams
- Strengthen alignment and synergies between the Quality Management System and the Environmental Management System to improve overall business performance
Eco‑Design Approach
- Define and drive the company’s eco‑design strategy, in alignment with environmental objectives and business priorities
- Deploy, in collaboration with Engineering, a structured approach (processes, tools, methodologies) to integrate eco‑design and LCA into product development standards
- Measure and drive the environmental benefits achieved through the initiatives implemented
About you
- Field of study: Environment and/or QSE Management System, Ecodesign
- Experience: at least 5 to 7 years of working experience in a similar job in the field of Environment management system in an industrial environment, ideally in a matrix organization
- 5 years of experience in eco‑design approach
- Technical skills / knowledge: strong expertise in environmental regulatory, environmental management system and ISO 14001 standard in the aerospace industry
- Proven experience in eco‑design and LCA
- Solid knowledge of engineering process in aeronautic industry
- Proficient in MS pack office tools
- Skills in CSR and ISO 9001/EN9100 are welcome
- Soft skills: very good communication skills and team working attitude to navigate in a matrix environment; analytical mindset and problem‑solving oriented; autonomous, curious, proactive, rigorous, with great attention to detail; ability to prioritise work in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment; fluent in English and French
