We are looking for a Quality Unit Leader for our Final Assembly Line to join our Quality Directorate in Delphine\'s team. Reporting to the FAL Quality Manager, two Unit Quality Leaders ensure the quality of assembly and customization activities. Our assembly line is organized into two units, from the arrival of parts/sections to the formal transfer of the aircraft to the Flight Line: FAL A (structural assembly and engine installation) and FAL B (aircraft customization and finalization of ground tests).

The Unit Quality Leader is responsible for monitoring and improving operations within their perimeter. The control and certification of aircraft operations according to airworthiness requirements is a key component of the role. They are also in charge of deploying and overseeing the BMS, as well as the operational and regulatory standards and processes that ensure the aircraft is assembled, tested, and certified in compliance with Quality requirements. In collaboration with the Operations Unit Leader, the Unit Quality Leader drives performance within their scope and ensures the achievement of key operational objectives such as employee safety, product safety, compliance and quality, on-time delivery, workload/staffing/skills adequacy, production cost convergence, and absenteeism management. They ensure an inclusive management approach focused on the development of their teams. Together with other members of the FAL Quality Management Team, they contribute to the strategic vision of the Operations Quality Directorate with the objective of delivering aircraft in line with Quality, Cost and Schedule targets, while continuously improving customer satisfaction.
Your Mission
- Lead the team in the perimeter (managers, quality inspectors, and test technicians), ensure development of all team members, and drive performance to meet objectives set by the company and the Quality organization.
- Foster a positive social environment, engage and motivate both direct and indirect teams, promoting collaboration beyond boundaries.
- Ensure compliance with Ethics & Compliance principles and promote ATR values.
- Manage subcontracting activities within the perimeter, ensuring alignment with the allocated budget.
- Manage resources in terms of headcount and competencies, and set clear objectives aligned with expected performance.
- Implement and secure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System within the perimeter, including preventive actions and operational surveillance.
- Identify product-related issues, secure them, and oversee corrective actions.
- Control and certify the airworthiness of the aircraft through inspections, quality gates and tests, in compliance with standards, the Quality System and applicable regulations, including safety, health and environmental rules.
- Ensure deliveries to internal or airline customers meeting quality, cost and schedule requirements; support customer satisfaction by preparing and coordinating customer visits.
- Contribute to defining the strategic plan of Operations Quality and prepare for the upcoming production ramp-up.
About You
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Excellent understanding of product safety and quality principles, BMS, and compliance management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of POA requirements
- Solid field experience and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and summarizing skills at all levels of the organization
- Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and strong customer orientation
- Rigorous and reliable
- Ability to engage teams toward achieving ATR\'s objectives
- Appetite for challenge and commitment
- Languages: proficient in French and English; Italian is a plus
- Motivated and resilient, with several prior experiences in operational functions, including production and/or quality management roles
