We are looking for an Aftermarket Cost Performance Manager to join our Customer Support and Services Supply Chain Directorate in a team of 5 collaborators.
Responsibilities
- Repair Cost Base Update & Improvement: periodically update the Repair Cost Base by integrating the latest technical and commercial analyses, continuously refresh data based on operational events (variances, incidents, technical evolutions), analyze cost variations and identify root causes, secure and structure data within internal tools, and propose corrective actions in case of cost deviations or atypical trends.
- Cost Securing: assess the financial impacts of technical modifications, repairability changes or scope evolutions, analyze and challenge suppliers’ price revision requests, monitor actual versus forecast variances and analyze their drivers, contribute to supplier tenders and renegotiations through should‑cost analyses, ensure robustness and consistency of economic assumptions used in aftermarket decision‑making, and participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at improving overall economic performance.
- Strategic POOL & Configuration Management: contribute to POOL committees and related strategic decisions, analyze the economic impacts of repairable versus non‑repairable choices for equipment, assess the maintainability of part numbers within existing contracts and propose adjustments, study and cost the integration of new part numbers into the POOL contract, support POOL evolution decisions (standard changes, technical improvements, configuration optimization) and provide cost‑driven analyses to support the overall strategy for defining and evolving the POOL.
Qualifications
- Experience in cost engineering, purchasing or cost analysis with a solid financial culture; background in aftermarket and aircraft maintenance required, experience in MRO considered a strong asset.
- Autonomous, initiative‑driven, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to deliver high‑quality cost performance support in demanding situations.
- High communication skills with a focus on stakeholder alignment and client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of SAP or another ERP environment is considered a plus.
- Fluent in English and French; Italian is a plus.
