Overview

A leading global financial institution is seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate or VP-level EUR Swaps Trader to join its Paris-based Rates Trading desk. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team within a well-established and strategically expanding European platform.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage EUR Swaps trading strategies across the curve, contributing to the desk's overall performance.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends and market developments to identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, structuring, and research to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Maintain and grow relationships with institutional clients.
• Operate within a robust risk and regulatory framework.

Candidate Profile

• Direct experience in EUR Swaps trading is ideal, but not essential.
• The desk is also open to considering candidates with trading experience in closely related asset classes, such as:
  • Interest Rate Derivatives
  • Short-Term Interest Rate (STIR) products
  • Rates Options
• Strong market knowledge, analytical skills, and a keen interest in transitioning into EUR Swaps.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment.
• Fluency in English; French is advantageous but not required.
