Position: EMEA Associate Solutions Engineer – France (Associate Pre‑Sales Engineer)
Target Start Date: March1,2027.
Year1 training location: Amsterdam; Year2 location: France– Paris.
Your Impact
- Month1–3 (Amsterdam Hub): Participate in immersive boot‑camp training and foundational technical skill‑building.
- Month3–12 (Amsterdam Hub): Complete three rotational assignments for real‑world technical sales experience.
- Beyond12months: Transition into a Solutions Engineer role in France, discovering, demonstrating, and designing solutions for complex customer challenges.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Cisco Associate Sales Representatives to provide technical solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Expand expertise across Collaboration, Security, Networking, and Cloud, bridging technical requirements to business value.
- Use advanced learning platforms and artificial intelligence to design technical solutions and improve decision‑making.
- Build strong AI skills by participating in an AI‑first mandate, using AI to automate and innovate engineering.
- Support program growth by earning industry‑standard certifications and preparing for elite technical sales opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a technical degree (Engineering, CS, STEM) or have real‑world technical curiosity demonstrated via a home lab, certification, or side project.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Legally authorised to work in the hiring country, no sponsorship required.
- Willing to relocate to Amsterdam for the 12‑month training.

- AI‑native mindset with high learning agility; passion for networking and software (Java/Python) and eagerness to use AI to automate and innovate engineering.
- High emotional intelligence; ability to navigate a matrix‑based organization, influence stakeholders, and collaborate within a hub‑based cohort.
- Analytical resilience, maintaining focus and creativity when solving sophisticated technical hurdles or translating complex requirements into tangible business value.
- Confident communicator who can deconstruct 'black box' technologies into simple, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
