About our client

Our client is a global investment firm founded over 30 years ago. They manage multiple funds and strategies, and we are currently supporting their latest impact growth fund. The fund focuses on investing across Europe in the intersection of impact and technology, including themes within climate, health, and education, typically investing equity tickets of €10‑30 million to drive growth in the portfolio.

What the job involves

• Source new investment opportunities by actively mapping and assessing vertical landscapes, identifying top opportunities, connecting with and nurturing relationships with entrepreneurs.
• Manage and assess inbound deal flow, evaluate and analyse pitch decks, and participate in and contribute to initial assessments of opportunities.
• Participate in investment processes and due diligence efforts, including specific analysis deep dives, in‑depth conversations with entrepreneurs, and contributing to end‑to‑end investment decisions.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and deep dives for portfolio companies, covering go‑to‑market strategies, expansion beyond a company's primary market, and competitive intelligence.

Who we are looking for

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree from a tier‑one academic institution.
• Full‑time work experience at a top‑tier institution in investment banking, consulting, growth equity, or private equity.
• Business‑fluent English with conversational fluency in French.
• Demonstrable passion for technology and impact.
• Highly analytical.
• Commercially minded with an aptitude for investing.
