The Meetings
Group editorial team develops original content that informs, educates and engages this community, always with a focus on making meeting professionals’ jobs easier. We take pride in this content in all forms, whether we are writing news stories, how-to articles or destination guides; conducting research studies and analysis; developing and facilitating live webinars; posting on our social media platforms; collaborating on video projects or lining up sessions for our live events. Maintaining editorial integrity and producing high-quality content are always our ultimate goals.
We’re looking to add a multitalented editor to our collaborative team, someone with a journalistic sense for storytelling and the skills to write engagingly, with clarity and accuracy, for a professional audience. Candidates should be comfortable writing for various platforms, whether for an online news story, newsletter, magazine feature or engaging social media post. A familiarity with the travel and event professions is a bonus, but you’ll learn quickly from our seasoned team, and you’ll have ample opportunity for travel and to experience industry events.
This job will offer plenty of opportunities to grow or to specialize, given the diverse nature of content; if you have a knack for video or podcasting, for instance, or if you’re a natural on camera or onstage, we’ll ensure those skills are put to good use.
