Associate Director, Sales – Southern Europe (Genomics & Advanced Molecular Technologies)

We are partnering exclusively with a high-growth, globally recognised life sciences innovator at the forefront of next-generation molecular analysis and sequencing technologies. With a disruptive platform enabling faster, more accessible and information-rich biological insights, the company is transforming how researchers and clinicians understand human disease, oncology, infectious disease and broader biological systems.

As part of its continued expansion across EMEAI, we are seeking an Associate Director, Sales to lead and scale commercial activities across Southern Europe .

The opportunity

  • Driving regional growth
  • Expanding market adoption of advanced genomic technologies
  • Leading and developing a high-performing field sales team
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy across Southern Europe, driving revenue growth and market penetration
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of field-based sales professionals across France and Benelux
  • Build and deliver against ambitious commercial targets across both capital equipment and consumables
  • Identify and unlock new market opportunities in collaboration with market development and marketing teams
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, research institutions and strategic accounts
  • Naviagate complex funding environments and procurement cycles across the region
  • Ensure high-quality pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline
  • Partner cross‑functionally with technical, applications and customer support teams to drive customer success
  • Act as a key contributor to regional and global commercial planning

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in leading field‑based sales teams across multiple countries
  • Strong track record of delivering commercial growth in complex, technical environments
  • Experience selling advanced technologies (genomics, molecular biology, life sciences instrumentation or similar)
  • Deep understanding of the research and/or clinical ecosystem
  • Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders, KOLs and cross‑functional teams
  • Experience operating in matrix organisations with multiple internal stakeholders
  • Commercially astute, with strong forecasting, planning and execution capabilities
  • Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
