Description

The Associate, Business Process (Functional) Services supports functional consulting activities that help customers define business needs and translate them into ERP requirements. The role works under close supervision and follows established procedures to complete day to day tasks.

The Associate gathers business information, supports requirements analysis and helps prepare functional documentation.

The role makes minor pre approved updates to processes and communicates with internal and external contacts to support project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supports requirements gathering with customer stakeholders.
• Collects and organises business information needed for analysis.
• Assists in documenting business processes and identifying issues.
• Helps translate business needs into basic ERP module requirements.
• Supports the creation of functional specifications under guidance.
• Makes minor pre approved changes to processes or documentation.
• Describes functional practices and procedures when requested.
• Communicates with internal teams and customers to gather or share information.
• Follows established operational procedures and quality standards.
• Escalates complex issues to senior colleagues.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Education in business, IT or a related field.
• Basic understanding of business processes and ERP concepts.
• Ability to follow structured processes and complete assigned tasks.
• Clear communication skills with internal teams and customers.
• Ability to perform simple analysis to support functional work.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in functional consulting.
