A Day in the Life

Consultant Technique Adjoint for the Neuromodulation department supports commercial activity by providing customers with high-level technical and clinical support throughout the patient journey, mainly in the operating room, in close collaboration with clinical staff. You ensure training for optimal use of our products before, during, and after the sale, in coordination with the commercial and cross-functional teams, for clients and partners. You contribute to the maintenance and development of durable relationships with sector opinion leaders (KOLs), in partnership with Technico-Commercial Engineers, leveraging your technical and clinical expertise. The products covered include Pain Stimulation – Spinal Cord Stimulation platform Inceptiv and the Vanta neurostimulator, as well as Targeted Drug Delivery Systems for intrathecal therapy by pump, including the SynchroMed III Intrathecal Pump, the SynchroMed Clinician Programmer, and the myPTM Personal Therapy Manager.

You will be trained on our products for about one and a half months with the France team to support operating room activities. The responsibilities are national; ideally you are based in Paris or the surrounding region. You will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities may include, without limitation:

  • Plan and deploy technical, clinical, and client training programs for PainStim and TDD Pumps ranges
  • Provide technical and clinical support during implantations (best practices, parameter settings, functionality checks), highlighting each intervention to enhance information for medical teams about products, services, indications, and competitive positioning
  • Ensure technical and clinical support to clients before and after implantation, including resolution and follow-up of technical issues reported by clients or sales teams
  • Actively contribute to stock management in the sector using Medtronic tools to ensure smooth implantation procedures
  • Position yourself as a recognized technical and clinical expert and a preferred interlocutor for clients
  • Develop solid, long-lasting relationships with clients and center teams (operating rooms, consultations, etc.), in close collaboration with Technico-Commercial Engineers
  • Work in total synergy with sales colleagues: align with action plans, communicate regularly, share relevant information after interventions, and immediately report any adverse events related to clients or products

Knowledge and experience required :

  • Biomedical Engineering degree or Nurse
  • Successful experience in the medical field (medical devices, equipment, instrumentation) or in a hospital surgical environment: internships, first experience…
  • Knowledge and passion for the operating room
  • Experience in sales or commissioning of medical equipment in the operating room
  • Driver’s license required for client visits (approximately 50 to 75% of working time)
  • Fluent in French and English

We especially value candidates with experience in sales or commissioning of medical equipment in the operating room, as well as demonstrated effectiveness in multidisciplinary environments, interacting with sales teams, physicians, nurses, and other hospital technicians. The ability to manage projects and take on responsibilities autonomously while fully integrating into a team dynamic is also an asset. Strong interpersonal skills, smooth communication at all levels of the company, sound judgment, integrity, and respect for interlocutors are highly valued. Finally, attention to detail and accuracy in task execution will be considered an advantage.

Pay range: France: 37,600.00 EUR - 56,400.00 EUR
