Assoc Dir, Procurement- Mods & Upgrades
Role Responsibilities
The position will own end-to-end procurement for the Mods & Upgrades business across CSA — category strategy, sourcing, supplier performance, parts availability, product data and cost — and be accountable for cost and on-time delivery.
Role Purpose
Strategy & organization build: Stand up and lead the dedicated MAU procurement organization Category Manager, Category Specialists, with shared PDM and Should-Cost COE support.
Own category strategy and should-cost for 3rd-party equipment and materials — pumps, cooling towers, fans, valves, controls/BMS, electrical and balance-of-plant.
Negotiate supplier alliances and rate cards; set make/buy and dual-source strategy; govern the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and standardize 3rd-party offerings.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business
- 10+ years of progressive procurement / supply-chain experience, including direct people leadership and building or scaling a team.
- 10+ years’ experience with proven category management and strategic sourcing of engineered or 3rd-party equipment (e.g., pumps, towers, valves, controls) and/or HVAC components.
- 10+ years’ experience Track record of delivering measurable savings on $100M+ of category spend, with strong should-cost and negotiation capability.
- 10+ years’ experience with sourcing and managing subcontracted services or project-based procurement.
Preferred
- HVAC, aftermarket/services or capital-equipment background; exposure to the data-center cooling segment.
- Familiarity with PFEP, Kraljic segmentation, supplier-alliance programs, and M&A / synergy capture.
- MBA or equivalent; Lean / Six Sigma certification.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
