We are looking for a passionate store assistant manager to join the team at The North Face in Villefontaine – The Outlet Village. As a store assistant manager, you will play a key role supporting the store manager and contribute to the success of the store.

Roles and responsibilities

• Stimulate sales and profitability in synergy with the store manager.
• Motivate, supervise, and coach sales staff.
• Assist the store manager in applying established sales processes and seek ways to improve them.
• Control key operational procedures, such as inventory and P&L.
• Measure performance and demonstrate a good understanding of KPIs to improve store results.
• Highlight the store in accordance with brand visual merchandising guidelines.
• Assume the store manager’s functions in their absence.

• You enjoy customer contact and set a strong example for the team with practical enthusiasm and a passion for delivering a fantastic customer experience.
• You are not afraid to take initiatives when the store manager is absent. This is what makes an excellent assistant manager.
• You know how to build a high‑performance team and share your passion and vision to deliver exceptional shopping experiences. You take pride in helping employees grow and enjoy their work.
• You have experience in opening and closing a store, leading and motivating a team, and setting an example to maximize sales and drive productivity.
• You possess excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
• You master MS Office and several POS systems.
• You are willing to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required.
