The University of Washington Information School is at an exciting juncture, as we broaden and deepen the teaching profile of our Master of Information Management Program by offering a new position.
Position Overview
The position is a full-time 9-month non‑tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2024. The successful candidate will join a broad-based, inclusive Information School whose faculty pursue scholarship, teaching and service across multiple degree programs and are committed to the values of leadership, innovation, and diversity. The University of Washington is located in Seattle, between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, and encourages inclusive research and community outreach.
Teaching Focus
Information Management is an emerging field that designs, develops, manages and uses information to support decision making and create value. The candidate will complement iSchool expertise in Business Intelligence/Analytics, teaching courses that manage the transformation of data into information for organizational insight and incorporate modern analytics and data warehousing toolsets.

Salary and Benefits
Base salary ranges from $10,500 to $11,500 per month ($95,500–$103,500 per 9‑month academic year) commensurate with experience, or as mandated by U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
