The Team
A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is a market‑leading practice that supports private equity funds, corporates, and financial institutions throughout the transaction lifecycle. Our Financial Services Transaction Services team in Paris advises clients on acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, and strategic transactions across the financial services sector, including banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, payments, and specialty finance.
The Paris team operates within a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues across Restructuring, Operational Due Diligence, Valuation, Tax, and Performance Improvement. Our professionals are exposed to high‑profile domestic and cross‑border transactions, direct client interaction, and accelerated career progression opportunities.

How you will contribute
As an Assistant Director within the Financial Services Transaction Services team, you will lead financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients while managing project teams and developing strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading buy‑side and sell‑side financial due diligence engagements for financial services clients
- Managing day‑to‑day project execution including quality of deliverables, timelines, and team coordination
- Analysing historical and forecast financial information to identify key business drivers, risks, and transaction considerations
- Reviewing quality of earnings, net assets, capital adequacy, liquidity, and other financial metrics relevant to financial services businesses
- Assessing regulatory and sector‑specific considerations impacting transactions
- Preparing and reviewing client deliverables, reports, presentations, and key transaction analyses
- Managing client relationships and acting as a primary point of contact during engagements
- Coordinating with cross‑functional A&M teams including Tax, Valuation, Operational Due Diligence, and Restructuring professionals
- Coaching and developing junior team members while contributing to a collaborative and high‑performance culture
- Supporting business development initiatives including proposals, pitches, networking, and market activities
Qualifications
- Graduated from a leading “Grande Ecoles” in Business and/or Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience within Transaction Services, Deals Advisory, Audit, or Consulting with significant exposure to financial services clients
- Strong understanding of financial due diligence methodologies and transaction processes
- Experience across financial services sectors such as banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, specialty finance, or payments
- Strong financial analysis and problem‑solving capabilities
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. Additional European language skills, including Dutch, German, Swedish, Italian, or Spanish, are highly desirable
