About the organization
CHRONIQUES / Biennale des imaginaires numériques is an initiative of the associations ZINC and Seconde Nature, recognised for more than 20 years for their pioneering engagement in contemporary digital art. Since 2018, Seconde Nature in Aix-en-Provence and ZINC at the Friche Belle de Mai in Marseille have pursued an ambitious regional project under the name CHRONIQUES, hosting a Biennale of Digital Imaginaries every two years across Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, and Arles. In 2026, the Biennale of Digital Imaginaries is labelled Saison Méditerranée by the French Institute and will open on 23 October.
Position Overview
The Assistant(e) Administrative and Accounting will be part of the Administration Pole, supporting the team in administrative and accounting tasks amid an intensified activity linked to the Biennale. The role is part-time, a fixed-term contract (CDD) shared between the two legal entities Seconde Nature and ZINC, under the responsibility of the Administrative and Financial Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support and Invoice Tracking
- Sustainable input, preparation and organisation of accounting entries.
- Collection, verification and filing of invoices.
- Issuing selling invoices.
- Naming, archiving and organising accounting documents.
- Updating payment tracking tables.
- Operational management of dedicated bank accounts for production and technical teams (via Qonto) in direct link with their needs.
- Retrieval and archiving of bank statements.
- Updating and monitoring cash flow tables.
Human Resources and Cross‑Functional Missions
- Assistance in preparing employment contracts (general regime and intermittent).
- Participation in HR administrative procedures: DPAE, payroll, meal ticket orders, etc.
- Ordering supplies and executing purchases as required by teams.
Subsidies and Financial Statements
- Participation in the preparation of subsidy applications.
- Participation in the preparation of the accounting statement.
- Assistance in compiling financial statements.
Desired Profile
- Strong organisational capacity, rigor and attention to detail.
- Autonomy in task management and ability to prioritise in a high‑activity context.
- Team spirit and interpersonal ease, with ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with office tools (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.).
- First familiarity with accounting and banking tools (QUADRA, Qonto) is appreciated.
- Knowledge of accounting principles is an asset.
A sensitivity towards the artistic and cultural sector, particularly to digital arts, is appreciated.
Training and Experience
- Training in administrative management, accounting, cultural project management or equivalent.
- Prior experience (internship, apprenticeship or employment) in administrative, accounting or management missions is desired.
Offer Details
- CDD of 7 months (until March 2027).
- Part‑time 60%: 3 days per week (Monday mandatory).
- Group 6 of the SYNDEAC collective agreement – grade to be defined according to profile.

Primarily at Marseille office with possible travel to Aix-en-Provence.
