Missions
The successful candidate will work at the hearth of our Video Business unit and report directly to the VP of Asset Management and Customer Engagement. The Asset Manager and Solution Architect will play a central role in building a commercial solution that meets customer needs, including designing custom-tailored technical and operational solutions, and optimizing the exploitation of Eutelsat capacity assets. The candidate will support direct sales engagement and service delivery for OneWeb video end customers, ensuring the successful deployment of Eutelsat’s Video Distribution services based on the OneWeb constellation.
The candidate will be in charge of the following activities:
- Lead customer presales engagement for OneWeb video services, including trials, opportunity qualification, solution design, and preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Manage the OneWeb key trial-related activities, including feasibility assessment, agreements, UT loan and activation, test result reporting.
- Translate customer requirements into complete end-to-end solutions covering space segment optimization, service architecture, ground infrastructure, and terminal selection.
- Act as Bid Manager for RFP/RFI responses and support Sales Managers with presentations, technical studies, and customer-facing demonstrations.
- Oversee OneWeb order and service delivery processes: quotations, PO handling, activation orders, provisioning checks, installation support, and customer onboarding.
- Optimize Eutelsat capacity resources, assign capacity for new and renewing opportunities, and coordinate transponder or satellite transfer plans.
Profile & Experience
- Five years of relevant experience, including at least three years in satellite communications
- Master\'s degree in Telecommunication or Satellite Engineering or Network Engineering
- Good knowledge of satellite communications
- Knowledge of broadcast video distribution technologies
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to pro-actively engage with all stakeholders involved in the sales cycle
- Willingness and ability to travel whenever required
- Proficiency in English and French
