Asset Manager
About Sunrock
Sunrock isn’t just another company; we’re a vision in action. With a young spirit and a wealth of experience, we’re committed to excellence in our quest for sustainable energy solutions. Our rapid growth and ambitious goals span projects from solar systems to BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and EV solutions, all steered by our own EMS (Energy Management System). As Europe’s leading name in large-scale solar projects, we are redefining the industry.
The Asset Management team
Sunrock’s Asset Management team ensures our solar assets generate reliable, clean energy safely and efficiently, year after year. We protect portfolio value and align stakeholders, including property owners, tenants, contractors, financiers, and energy offtakers. As the portfolio grows, so does our focus on optimisation: once an asset is operational, the work continues. Our department – twenty people with diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and expertise – is expanding and actively improving its ways of working while managing daily operations. We are looking for a successor to our current Asset Manager in France.
About The Role
As Asset Manager you will cover contract management, technical topics, legal affairs, financial queries and revenue management. Established teams in the Netherlands and Germany support these areas. In France, one colleague has kickstarted the work, and we are now looking for a successor to manage our French assets. Our portfolio currently includes three rooftop Solar PV assets and a strong development and construction pipeline, with many new assets expected to come online in 2026 and 2027. You will prepare the onboarding of these assets and ensure Asset Management processes support Sunrock’s growth in France. Once operational, you will manage these assets day to day, ensuring they run safely and smoothly by steering our O&M partners. You will manage stakeholders such as property owners, tenants, the grid operator, and work with our Energy Offtake partner to control revenue streams. You will report to the Director Asset Management in the Netherlands and receive full support from Asset Management and Energy Contracting colleagues in the Netherlands and Germany. You will also work closely with Sunrock France colleagues who develop and construct the assets, ensuring they are ready for safe, high‑performing operations.
