Overview

Qualcomm France-SARL’s mission is to develop and deploy configurable custom-built interconnect hardware IPs (NoCs), software tools, and verification methodologies to enable SoC integration teams to assemble and verify SoCs with desired Power Performance Area (PPA) characteristics. QITC provides automated interconnect design and verification tools, including Verification IPs, UVM benches, and scoreboards, to check NoC assembly and NoC-level features. The UVM bench is automatically generated to map to various NoC topologies and features. The Solutions deployment team deploys and supports the QITC NoC Verification technology across Qualcomm’s portfolio (Mobile, Automotive, Servers, IoT, Connectivity, etc.). The role involves verification support, analyzing complex NoC simulation scenarios, and ensuring compliance with ASIC verification standards such as UVM."

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experts across Architecture, Hardware, Software, Verification, Emulation, and other teams to ensure efficient use of Verification technology in Qualcomm SoCs.
• Define and enhance the NoC Verification environment and its configuration across various SoCs.
• Provide technical support for new NoC verification solutions.
• Help resolve NoC testbench or DUT simulation issues.
• Participate in defining new Verification solutions and improvements for our technology.
• Develop in-depth technical material and organize training sessions for teams worldwide.

Skills and Experience

• Strong analytical skills for debugging in simulation, emulation, or silicon bring-up environments.
• Understanding of interconnect protocols (AHB/AXI/ACE/ACE-Lite/CHI) and NoC concepts.
• Understanding of the SoC development flow: architecture, RTL design and verification, performance, memory channels, physical implementation, and silicon debug.
• Knowledge of system-level features such as memory mapping, MMUs, Quality of Service, cache infrastructure, security schemes, etc.
• Ability to quickly react and adapt to changes.
• Excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Microelectronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Also noted: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field (as part of common Qualcomm listings).
• Strong knowledge of SoC fundamentals: multimedia IPs, GPU, multi-core CPU architecture, processors, caches, memory controllers, interconnects, and related design, integration, and verification challenges.
• 5 years of experience in verification and/or design for SoC/ASIC engineering development cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using or designing UVM components, benches, or VIPs.
