As Art director at La Vie, you will ensure best‑in‑class, visually bright and beautiful content on all touchpoints for La Vie, helping us build one of the most iconic food brands on Earth.
You will work in duo with the Brand & creative lead and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, bringing the La Vie brands to new heights in Europe and creating a genuine long‑term iconic brand saga.

You are instrumental in building the world’s most beautiful and appealing plant‑based brand.
Responsibilities
- Lead or co‑lead the packaging design execution with our design agency and illustrator to create new packaging that triggers consumer desire, entertainment, and tells relevant stories. Must have packaging skills to adapt existing design or new flavor based on the visual identity system.
- Work with the social media teams and the graphic designer alternant to supervise the content design creation, give the right guidelines, and ensure consistent beautiful content on social media.
- Coordinate all image, photography, video and motion design content productions with internal, external agencies, external freelancers to help build a visually stunning and consistent La Vie brand through time. Must have photography skills to also use the internal studio photo tools to create images for product launches (photo recipe + packshot) and recipe videos.
- Create scenographic design for tradeshows, internal and external events and specific occasions (e.g., La Vie Guinguette).
- Build guidelines, templates, and coach the team both internally and externally to apply them.
- Manage a Junior Art Director trainee, to ensure qualitative work on day to day marketing and trade marketing visuals (POS materials, PowerPoint presentations, idea illustrations).
- Work in a creative duo with the Creative Director to create iconic, bold, culturally relevant advertising campaigns and PR‑stunts.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience as Art Director in agency or as freelancer
- Strong sensibility with the visual style of La Vie: naïve, illustrative, bold, bright and entertaining
- Bold & challenger creative mindset to create ideas and campaigns that stand out
- Very ambitious for yourself and for La Vie, to create iconic work
- Very high standard of excellence in execution on all touchpoints
- Strong, smart, quirky sense of humour (at least, better than your manager’s please)
- Autonomous and can lead multiple projects on your own
- Ability to connect very fast to a network of like‑minded freelancers and external when needed for specific projects
- Fluent in French & English
- Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator and all modern tools for visual & video production
- Skills in packaging creation and execution (print‑ready files)
- Photography skills (food photography and videos for social media)
- Illustration skills to create specific illustration content (respecting the illustrator contract)
- Good notions of Motion Design, Movies and movie edition are a big plus
