DIPLOMATS is a Paris-based creative production company specializing in commercials, music videos, and branded content. We collaborate with internationally acclaimed directors and develop visually ambitious projects for leading brands and artists worldwide.

The Role

We are currently looking for a talented and highly motivated Art Director with at least one year of experience to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with directors, executive producers, and our creative team throughout the development and production process of exciting international projects.

Reporting to the executive producers and working alongside our directors, you will play a key role in developing pitch materials, visual concepts, and communication assets that support both our productions and the growth of the DIPLOMATS brand.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development & Pitch Support

• Collaborate with directors during commercial and music video pitches.
• Research visual references, trends, and creative inspiration.
• Develop strong creative advertising concepts.
• Create moodboards, mood videos, and AI-generated visual concepts.
• Develop treatment documents, creative presentations, and pitch decks.
• Assist with PPM presentations, storyboard layouts, and visual production guidelines.

Brand & Communication

• Create and prepare content for DIPLOMATS' Instagram and social channels.
• Support website updates and content management.
• Contribute to the development of merchandising and brand initiatives.
• Monitor emerging creative technologies, AI tools, and visual culture trends.

Creative Operations & Archiving

• Maintain and organize artistic archives and project documentation.
• Manage image databases and visual resources across Google Photos, Dropbox, and internal servers.
• Archive ongoing and completed pitches and treatments.
• Upload and maintain directors' reels and films on Simian.
• Support internal creative workflows and file management processes.

Office Support

• Assist the production coordinator with selected day-to-day office operations when needed.

Profile

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in Art Direction within a production company or creative agency.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
• Knowledge of AI image-generation and creative tools.
• Excellent visual presentation and layout skills.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of contemporary visual culture, photography, advertising and its history, film, and design.
