Responsibilities
- Drive business development efforts in France and abroad by identifying and engaging with potential customers in the photonics industry, including those in the electronics sector
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to open doors for future collaboration and partnerships
- Qualify new business opportunities, ensuring that prospects align with Photonics Systems Groups products and Aftersales offerings
- Effectively communicate the value of Photonics Systems Groups solutions and products, initiating discussions and moving prospects through the early stages of the sales funnel
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and provide insights to the management team
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions within the CRM system
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Photonics Systems’ brand and expand market visibility in the region
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management for capital equipment. Preferred in the field of electronic (PCB, PDBA, Power Electronics) and/or Semiconductor manufacturing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and drive business growth in a remote environment
- Ability to effectively present and promote solutions to potential clients, positioning Photonics Systems Group as a trusted partner in the industry
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously
- Living in France with very good communication skills in English and French
- Willingness to travel within the regions as needed for client meetings, events, and networking opportunities
