Area Sales Manager – France

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Sales Manager – France to join our Global Commercial Team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing Mute’s presence across France through strategic sales development and strong partner relationships. The role is based in Paris, La Défense.
What you’ll do:
- Drive Mute’s sales growth across the French Area by developing and executing regional go-to-market strategies aligned with global business objectives.
- Build and expand a strong network of distributors and partners, providing them with the tools and support needed to succeed and nurture long term relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities by monitoring market activity, investment projects and end‑user trends across the region.
- Own the regional sales pipeline and revenue targets, ensuring effective forecasting in close collaboration with the Global Commercial team.
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams on trade shows, events and market initiatives while sharing customer and market insights.
- Regular cooperation with Customer Care Department
- Represent Mute across France through regular travel, client meetings and industry events, including hosting partners in our showroom in La Défense.
What you bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally in acustic pods and/or office furniture.
- Experience in cooperation with such groups of clients as Dealers, Architects, Design & Build firms in the region.
- Proven track record of developing distribution networks and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to diverse cultural environments.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Fluency in French.
Nice to have:
- Background in furniture, workplace design, or building products.
- Experience selling to distributors, architects or corporate end‑users across multiple regions.
- Experience coordinating showroom operations or organising client events.
- Communicative proficiency in English.
