Job Purpose
Ensure and/or develop the turnover of the area according to the sales objectives defined by management.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyse customer expectations/needs within the area, propose appropriate technical solutions, prepare costings and commercial proposals.
- Manage the processing of quotations and orders.
- Build customer loyalty and identify new customers and prospects.
- Ensure and develop a strong field presence.
- Carry out competitive intelligence (prices, technology, services…) and report relevant information.
- Perform administrative tasks related to sales activities (updating customer/prospect data, scheduling appointments, drafting reports…).
- Carry out after‑sales service actions in the field, either alone or with an authorized person.
- Monitor / be informed about after‑sales service processing in the area.
- Respond to customer requests (product information…).
- Represent the company during promotional events (trade fairs…).
- Participate in sales meetings.
- Report results and visit reports.
- Report market information.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
- Participate in the budget‑building process by establishing sales projections.
Other Missions (non‑specific to the function)
- Participate in transversal site or group projects.
- Comply with quality procedures related to the position.
- Participate in continuous improvement by reporting malfunctions and proposing improvements.
- Comply with the general Hygiene, Safety, Environment & Security (HSE&S) rules within the company.
- Comply with HSE&S rules at the workstation and help promote them among colleagues.
- Immediately alert if a potential HSE&S risk is detected and, if necessary, suspend the activity pending instructions and/or measures.

Skills and Competencies
Knowledges
- Significant experience in a comparable or similar position.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, sales administration or customer relationship management.
- Technical knowledge in hydraulics (mechanical knowledge is a plus).
- Knowledge of ERP software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid category B driving license and commitment to report any loss/suspension.
- Professional English is a pro.
