Area Sales Executive (specification & project sales)
Region: Paris (North-Paris)
To strengthen our commercial presence in France, we are looking for an Area Sales Executive (Specification & Project Sales) who thrives on developing project opportunities, building lasting relationships and converting architectural specifications into successful delivered projects.
Your Role
As Area Sales Executive (Specification & Project Sales) , you are responsible for managing the complete project sales cycle within your territory. You build strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, contractors, tilers, retailers and distributors, ensuring Mosa products are specified early in the design phase and successfully converted into purchase orders.
You combine commercial drive with technical credibility and understand how to guide projects through complex decision-making processes involving multiple stakeholders. Working closely with your team mates from Customer Service, Marketing and Technical Support, you ensure every opportunity receives the right attention from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships & grow the market
- Build and strengthen long‑term relationships with architects, designers, developers, contractors, retailers and distributors.
- Identify and develop key accounts and project opportunities within your territory.
- Position Mosa as the preferred premium tile brand through design, sustainability and technical expertise.
- Expand your professional network and create long‑term customer loyalty.
- Visit existing and prospective customers to present Mosa's products and solutions.
- Provide technical, design and sustainability advice tailored to each project.
- Identify, qualify and develop new project opportunities, tenders and specifications.
- Maintain an active customer visit schedule and continuously develop your territory.
Manage projects & pipeline
- Maintain a structured and accurate project pipeline in Salesforce.
- Track projects from specification through tender, quotation, negotiation and final order.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent follow‑up.
- Work closely with Customer Service to ensure timely quotations and customer communication.
Convert specifications into orders
- Drive projects throughout the entire construction chain until successful completion.
- Support customers with technical specifications and product selection.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with distributors and project partners.
- Coordinate internal departments including Technical Support, Logistics, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure successful project execution.
- Organize factory visits, technical presentations, training sessions and customer events.
- Resolve project issues proactively and ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
Strengthen Mosa's market position
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities and emerging trends.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market growth.
- Increase market share, sales volume and customer loyalty within your territory.
- Promote new product introductions and support commercial initiatives.
What do we expect?
- Master's degree or equivalent higher education.
- Minimum 5–7 years of successful B2B sales experience , preferably within building materials, ceramics, flooring, construction or design.
- Proven experience managing project sales and converting architectural specifications into purchase orders.
- Strong understanding of the construction chain, including architects, developers, contractors, distributors and retailers.
- Experience selling premium brands or high‑value technical products.
- Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.
- Excellent command of French and a good command of English (minimum B2).
