Job Description

Join Airbus Protect as an ARCHITECTE FONCTION DE NAVIGATION (ATA34). We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Toulouse, with a background in system engineering and a passion for functional architecture.

The role involves contributing to the development of our avionics systems and functional architecture, with a focus on navigation functions. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing navigation functions for major projects and future systems
• Coordinating and leading a multidisciplinary network of internal and external stakeholders
• Defining and improving existing and future navigation architectures to ensure resilience against current and future threats

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge and experience in navigation systems, including GPS, IRS, and hybridization algorithms
• Understanding of avionics architectures and contributing systems (ADIRS, MMR, FMS)
• Familiarity with system design and safety methodologies (ABD0100/ABD0200, ARP4754, ARP4761, DO178/254)
