ARCHITECTE DEVOPS (F/H)
Job Overview
Airbus Defence & Space is looking for a DevOps Architect (f/m) to join its Public Safety and Security subsidiary based in Elancourt. You will be part of the "Terminal Software Engineering" team, which works on secure communication solutions particularly used by public safety forces. You will work on a Broadband "Mission Critical" solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the architecture of the CI/CD pipelines for the software solutions developed by the team, and implement them.
- Ensure solutions comply with the "Mission Critical" solution and the functional and operational requirements of our customers.
- Deliver and deploy the solution across various platforms.
- Ensure the high availability of the pipelines as well as the quality and security of the solution's components.
- Work with various teams based in France and Finland.
- Gather and analyze the functional and technical requirements of the customer project, and define the pipeline architecture required for the solutions to be developed.
- Develop the solution's CI/CD pipelines in an environment as close as possible to the customer’s using IT/DevOps skills.
- Implement the security level in line with project requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of tools, methods, and upgrade procedures.
- Participate in investigations and problem-solving.
- Lead technical discussions with the project and product managers regarding DevSecOps aspects.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience of at least 5 years (may include work‑study periods).
- Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes (rancher, k3s...), Helm, Docker Swarm, Docker, Podman, LXC.
- CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Canary/Blue-Green, Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible.
- DevSecOps & Quality: Scanning (Trivy, Xray, Snyk, IaC scanning), Secrets (HashiCorp Vault, OpenBao), mTLS, JWT, Software Supply Chain Security (SBOM / SLSA), Linting and SAST (Hadolint, Sonarqube, TFlint, Ruff, ESLint).
- Networking, Cloud & Observability: Networking/Gateway API (Native Gateway API, KGateway, Istio, NGINX, Kong), Monitoring/Supervision (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki), Cloud (GCP, AWS, Serverless, Cloud Run, EKS, AKS, GKE).
- IT, Database & Virtualization: Mastery of Linux environments, automation (Bash, Jfrog-CLI, Python), Virtualization (VMWare, Proxmox), Database administration skills with MongoDB replica sets clusters/Sharding, PostgreSQL.
- Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, ability to manage tense contexts, autonomy, commitment, analytical skills, and ability to report on complex subjects.
- Fluent technical English.
- Knowledge of Broadband Mission Critical solutions appreciated.
- This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by recognised authorities.
- Candidate must hold French nationality (constrained by Interministerial Instruction 901).
