Architect / Expert DO 254 / Design Assurance HW Safety Critical

Your Missions

Are you an expert in DO-254 and Design Assurance, and proficient in Safety-Critical environments (ARP4754A / ARP4761, DAL A/B)?

Do you enjoy working on demanding projects where rigor, robustness, and compliance are essential?

Are you looking to contribute to the development of critical avionics equipment at the heart of strategic programs with very high integrity?

You will act as DO-254 / Design Assurance expert on critical areas, in direct contact with the Systems, HW and Safety teams, within certifiable programs in interaction with authorities and aircraft manufacturers.

• Define the hardware architecture of critical electronic equipment (electronic boards, FPGA/ASIC, Products…).
• Write and structure the HW requirements (HLR / LLR) in accordance with DO-254.
• Lead or contribute to Design Assurance activities, from planning to certification.
• Participate in security analyses and ensure consistency with ARP4754A / ARP4761.
• Define and follow the DAL A/B verification strategy (reviews, traceability, tests, audits).
• Working in synergy with the systems, FPGA, safety, quality and certification teams.
• To provide technical expertise to clients and project teams.

Your Profile

Engineering degree (electronics, embedded systems, etc.).

Minimum 15 years of experience in DO 254 / critical systems.

Collaborative spirit, pragmatism, and technical leadership.

Solid knowledge of DO 254, ideally at DAL A/B level.

Experience in electronic architecture / FPGA development / electronic boards.

Proficiency in Design Assurance processes and avionics requirements.

Knowledge of ARP4754A and ARP4761 standards.

Rigorous documentation, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

Excellent technical communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
