Apprenticeship in Artificial Intelligence Natural Language Processing

Overview

You will work on developing solutions using current tools such as Docker, Python, AWS Services, virtual machines, etc. in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

Natural Language Processing

For each of our cases we have voluminous documents (contracts, standards, etc.) to analyze. A certain number of techniques exist for exploiting structured or unstructured texts (Conversational Intelligence, Text Mining, Natural Language Processing). We therefore want to develop our skills on the subject in order to benefit from it and gain efficiency.

• Find the right solutions to start text analysis
• Establish a development plan based on the needs of future users.
• Develop machine learning models based on NLP. Test, validate, document and provide feedback.
• Discuss/Share with other people working on NLP topics at GE.

Service Cloud AWS

Our application sharing platform has just been migrated to the AWS cloud. Some existing functionalities could be carried out by cloud services to be identified.

Other services can help us implement features more quickly.

For example, AWS Comprehend natural language processing (NLP) service could be compared to less turnkey approaches and decide which is most appropriate.

• Identify AWS Services that could be useful to us (Comprehend, SageMaker, Ground Truth)
• Test their operation on the development platform (AWS Sandbox)
• Make an assessment and recommendations for the service tested (ease of use, flexibility, limits, cost)
• Define appropriate multi-service architectures.
