As a biostatistician & data scientist apprentice within our Biomarker Statistics Team, you will join a young, dynamic, and international team of statisticians and bioinformaticians working on advanced statistical methods for clinical trials.

Main responsibilities

• Design and conduct a comprehensive simulation study to systematically evaluate how well our methods can estimate personalized treatment effects when working with limited data.
• Provide practical recommendations for method selection in small‑sample pharmaceutical settings.
• Benchmark causal forest and traditional methods across a range of sample sizes and data‑generating scenarios using existing team tools.
• Evaluate potential enhancements such as Bayesian approaches and regularization strategies.

Qualifications

• Relevant skills: Rigor, curiosity, autonomy, knowledge of R programming and machine learning analysis.
• Education: BAC +5 in statistics, biostatistics, or mathematics.
• Languages: English fluent.
