Apprentice Validation Cybersecurity Engineer H/F

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and designing cybersecurity test cases for ECUs and systems.
• Execute test campaigns and vulnerability assessments on embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity architects, developers, and validation teams to identify and document security risks.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and support issue resolution with development teams.
• Ensure alignment with automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE21434, UNECER155, Cyber Resilience Act, GB44495, AIS189, etc.).
• Support continuous improvement of cybersecurity validation processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Participate in reviews of cybersecurity requirements and contribute to test strategy definition.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program specializing in cybersecurity or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of testing and diagnostic tools for embedded systems (JTAG debuggers, CANoe/CANalyzer).
• Experience with security testing tools (Wireshark, penetration testing toolkits).
• Solid understanding of cryptography and security protocols.
• Fundamental knowledge of embedded systems and OBD.
• Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous approach.
• Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Good level of English required.
