Apprentice Sales and Purchasing Controller

We are looking for a new team member who will not only get the chance to discover our dynamic industry, but also gain hands-on experience in finance and controlling within an international environment, contribute to key business performance analyses, and work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Your 1-year apprenticeship can start between September 2026 and January 2027 depending on your school calendar.

Because at FORVIA we like to foster talent, VIE positions are proposed every year, with a priority for our former interns or apprentices.

Sales & Purchasing Controller

• Support monthly closing activities related to sales and purchasing performance
• Analyze sales evolution, purchasing costs, margins, and variances versus budget and forecast
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to turnover, supplier costs, and profitability
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards to support management decision-making
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
• Ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance of reported financial data
• Support optimization initiatives to improve cost efficiency and customer profitability

Reporting & Systems Support

• Contribute to the development and improvement of financial reporting tools and dashboards
• Support users on reporting systems and ensure data accuracy
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to improve controlling processes and automation
• Participate in data analysis projects using Excel, BI tools, AI, and Big Data solutions
• Help maintain governance and compliance with internal procedures

Qualifications

• Business School with expertise in Finance and accounting or master's degree in finance
• Strong IT skills (Excel, AI, Big Data analysis)
• 1st experience in Controlling
• International company and matrix organization experience is a plus
• "Right first time", rigorous, accountable and autonomous mindset as a soft skill
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English – French
