Apprentice – Product Marketing Analyst (m/f)

Main Responsibilities

• Market Analysis & Business Data: consolidate and analyze market data, support market sizing, update the Market Data Book, analyze gaps, conduct system-level benchmarking.
• Pricing & Competitiveness: contribute to market pricing and competitiveness analysis, develop price/competitiveness waterfalls, analyze gaps between Valeo targets and market benchmarks, identify levers such as cost, content, and system architecture.
• Product Strategy Support: structure product roadmaps, identify OEM customer needs, analyze technology trends (e.g., heat pumps, refrigerants, system architectures), support product development prioritization.
• Regional Coordination & Data Consolidation: collect and consolidate inputs from regions, ensure data consistency and reliability, track updates on pricing and market assumptions.
• Support to Strategic Deliverables: prepare materials for internal reviews, build presentations, develop dashboards and data visualizations.

Expected Deliverables

• Market analysis and synthesis presented in slides or Excel.
• Charts and dashboards for the Market Data Book.
• Contributions to market sizing exercises.
• Pricing and competitiveness analysis.
• Regular reporting on progress.

About you

• Education : Engineering or Business School specializing in Marketing, Data, or Strategy.
• Level : Master’s degree.
• Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, database experience, PowerPoint/Google Slides, prior market or data analysis experience.
• Professional Skills : Strong analytical and critical thinking, structured detail orientation, ability to work in an international environment, interest in the automotive industry and complex products.
• Personal Skills : Curious and proactive, autonomous with a strong sense of priorities, good synthesis skills, strong interpersonal skills.
• Languages : Fluency in English.
