Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the University of Oxford as an Apprentice Machining Technician in the Engineering Science department. The role involves a three and a half year training programme that covers all aspects of the position. Training is delivered through in‑house sessions and block releases at MTC at Oxfordshire Advanced Skills Culham Campus.

Apprenticeship Overview

• Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship with clear development objectives.
• Program duration of 42 months, including block releases at the Oxfordshire Advanced Skills Culham Campus.
• Support from the Department, University and College throughout the apprenticeship.

About You

• Passionate about starting a career in engineering or looking for a career change.
• Evidence of passes at 9-4 or A*-C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Ready to complete a short initial assessment as part of the application process.
• Will meet government residency requirements for apprenticeship funding (details provided by the Training Provider).
