Responsibilities

• Secure and enable strategic commercial agreements.
• Support and enable the effective deployment of the Group's commercial, business and sales strategy.
• Prevent, navigate and resolve legal issues.
• Actively monitor regulatory developments (in the hotel sector) and best practices relevant to the Group, making proposals to ensure that any regulatory changes are anticipated and managed.
• Provide regular training to the business teams when necessary, on new legal or regulatory developments.
• Conduct legal watch activities and prepare regular summaries and alerts for the team on new laws, regulations and regulatory guidance relevant to the team's scope of activities.
• Support the teams with regards to relationships with authorities and administrations (DDPP, DGCCRF, EU Commission).
• Actively support in the deployment of the use of the digital tools used at Group level, in particular the Global Contracting Policy.
• Actively participate in the drafting and regular updates of templates, in line with the Group Global Contract Policy.
• Any other task which may be deemed fit to protect the reputation and assets of the Group.

Qualifications

• Master law degree in Contract, Distribution, competition and/or Economic Law as well as International Business Law, ideally with double cursus.
• Experience in international business law, competition, distribution & general commercial laws, as well as in pre-litigation & contractual negotiation.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and people skills.
• Ability to simplify and be impactful.
• Strong business acumen.
• Methodical organizational skills, ability to plan and be pragmatic: strong project management skills.
• Awareness of main compliance matters such as data protection, fight against corruption, compliance to international sanctions, duty of vigilance and competition/antitrust law.
• Curiosity and capacity to understand and implement the requirements of sector regulations.
• Technology savvy, good understanding of information systems and advanced technologies.
