This is a one-year apprenticeship contract based at ORIS offices near the Part-Dieu train station in Lyon, where you will join a collaborative multi-cultural and ambitious team. This position is open to RQTH status also.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Data. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment, embracing agile principles and leveraging the Kanban framework, while exploring cutting-edge AI technologies and frameworks.
TypeScript React Development
- Implement, and maintain our React applications ensuring they meet our business & architectural standards.
- Collaborate closely with frontend lead & peers to maintain and improve existing code quality to meet companies quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with design and product teams to turn mockups and user stories into beautiful, responsive, and functional user interfaces.
Unit Testing
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the quality of the applications.
- Collaborate with the QA team to address and resolve defects and issues.
Follow Architectural Standards
- Learn and apply architectural and coding best practices.
- Support on refactoring and optimizing code for performance and scalability.
Support and Collaboration
- Assist other departments in the organization with technical topics, providing insights and solutions.
- Work in tandem with frontend peers & backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
Continuous Learning
- Gain hands‑on experience on coding best practices, architectural & technical decision making, building high quality web applications and working in distributed environments.
- Keep up‑to‑date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and the tech stack we use.
- Participate in internal training sessions, workshops, and code reviews.
Your profile
- English is mandatory.
- B2+ – C1 English proficiency.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a passion for innovation and experimentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Motivated in fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Prior experience in an agile product development team using react.js is a plus.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Last year of Master Studies in Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Training Course or Certification on React or equivalent is a plus.
