Job Description
The Finance Department at INSEAD manages financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The General Ledger Accounting Team oversees accounting records, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements. They handle reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance with regulatory standards, supporting the institution's fiscal integrity and operational efficiency. INSEAD is looking for an Apprentice, Accountant General Ledger to join our General Ledger Accounting team within the Finance department. This is an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
About the Job
The apprentice will be reporting to the General Ledger Senior Accountant and supervised by the Global General Ledger Manager. They will assist the General Ledger Team in their daily duties.
Responsibilities
- Enter bank entries on the INSEAD Association entity.
- Participation in bank reconciliation work.
- Book-keep the INSEAD Residences entity on Account Receivables:
- Record revenue and payment in Oracle.
- Reconcile with Protel.
- Manage relation with Residences team.
- Record journals entries in the Oracle general ledger module.
- Assist in various GL accounts reconciliation.
Requirements
- Ideally you will start a BTS CG or a licence in Finance in September 2026.
- Good communicational skills in French and English.
- Well organised and detail oriented.
- Motivated, serious, punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work autonomously and team spirit.
- Tech savvy, at ease with accounting softwares and the Office pack.
