Position Overview
The Strategic Student Program (SSP) is a formal apprenticeship program globally. The product marketing apprentice joins a multinational Marketing team responsible for go-to-market strategy, developing messaging and content, and supporting Marketing activities across the Simulation and Test Solutions organization.
Your mission is to support the visibility, coherence, and recognition of Simcenter as the leading engineering simulation solution in Fluids & Thermal, Systems and Electromagnetics. You will work together with engineers, product managers, and Marketing professionals around the world. In return, the role provides real‑life working experience to help you start your marketing and communication career.
Responsibilities
- Complete product release cycles.
- Support the creation and maintenance of core and derivative assets following Siemens branding guidelines (case studies, white papers, brochures, videos, blogs, solution guides, product presentations, executive presentations, etc.).
- Ensure Highspot quality of our products pages by keeping assets fresh and uploading new ones.
- Handle the internal tracking and promotion of our software Marketing assets.
- Develop relationships with social media influencers internally and externally.
- Collaborate on the creation of social media posts.
- Maintain Simcenter software website pages.
- Optimize and analyze Simcenter website pages SEO.
- Contribute to Simcenter presence on G2.com.
- Take part in ad‑hoc marketing and communication activities.
- Explore new ways of working and marketing automation with AI technology.
Depending on your skills development and the team's projects, your missions may evolve during your apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship Details
This 24-month apprenticeship position is based in Lyon (France) and available from September 2026.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience
- Enrolled in a French college or university, pursuing a master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Management, or a related field from September 2026.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (oral and written) and the ability to tell compelling stories.
- Possess strong project management and execution skills.
- Bring a service‑focused approach, show initiative, and enjoy contributing ideas in a collaborative environment.
- Show an independent, structured way of working with a high level of quality awareness.
- Be open‑minded, and possess relational skills that allow efficient collaboration in an international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in computer skills including SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience employing AI for meaningful content generation; first experience in agentic AI or process automation with AI technology is a bonus.
- Ideally, first‑hand experience in high‑tech B2B marketing and communications.
