Overview
Apprenti(e) QMS – Works on projects related to a particular function depending on prior coursework and degree program.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects often requiring independent decision‑making (scoped between 2–6 months, up to 2 years).
- Develop PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or provide updates.
- Analyze data with Excel or other analysis tools.
- Take on certain aspects of a full‑time job within the function being studied (e.g., write software code if engineering, perform compensation analysis if HR).
- Participate in early talent events, seminars or trainings.
- Perform assignments where trust and accuracy are required.
- Assist in updating QMS documentation in Documentum.
- Maintain and update the QMS database.
- Verify consistency of high‑level procedures (GasPower) with GSCM procedures and update processes as needed.
- Plan internal audit schedules in Gensuite and track progress using Excel.
- Support audit managers in closing audits in Gensuite, uploading audit reports, and opening findings during audits.
- Track the processing of findings, extract weekly audit status reports, and follow up with managers to close findings.
- Train as an auditor, participate in internal audits, and conduct one or two internal audits.
- Track closure of audit findings (eLPR) and update status weekly.
Qualifications
- Awareness of and compliance with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or local equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program that will lead to a bachelor’s degree or technical degree in the relevant function (or equivalent) or hold such a degree.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- English B2 minimum proficiency.
Characteristics
- Minimum 24 credit hours of coursework toward a bachelor’s degree or technical degree in the function being interned, or recent graduate with such degree.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (if applicable).
- Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.
- Previous experience using independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow, and anticipate future needs of the team.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Self‑starter, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
- Autonomous, able to animate and guide meetings.
- Knowledge of the quality domain is a plus.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 24 credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree or technical degree in project management or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- English B2 or higher.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and alignment with Gas Power quality system.
Duration: July2026–July2028.
