Job Description Summary
Apprenti(e) QMS
Key Responsibilities
- Work on projects often requiring independent decision-making (scopes usually 2‑6 months, up to 2 years).
- Develop PowerPoint and other graphic presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or provide updates.
- Analyze data using Excel or other analysis tools.
- Take on aspects of a full‑time role within the function (e.g., write software code for engineering interns, perform compensation analysis for HR interns).
- Participate in early talent events, seminars, or trainings.
- Perform assignments where trust and accuracy are required.
Additional Tasks (Competence QMS)
- Update QMS documentation and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and Gas Power quality system.
- Maintain the Documentum database, update process documentation, and track obsolete procedures.
- Verify coherence of high‑level procedures from Gas Power with GSCM procedures.
- Update processes as needed and follow action lists.
- Enter internal audit schedules into Gensuite, track progress via Excel, and assist audit leaders in closing audits and reporting findings.
- Extract weekly audit status in Excel, follow up with responsible parties, and close findings.
- Receive training as an auditor, participate in internal audits, and conduct one to two internal audits independently.
- Track closure of audit discrepancies related to eLPR (Process Review) audits.
Qualifications
- Know and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Policy, Goals, and applicable laws/regulations relevant to this role.
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action.
- High School Diploma, GED, or local equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program leading to a bachelor’s or technical degree in the function, or hold such a degree.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Characteristics
- Minimum 24 credit hours toward a bachelor’s or technical degree in the relevant function, or recent graduate with equivalent knowledge/experience.
- In applicable countries, a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.
- Experience using independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow, and anticipate future team needs.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Self‑starter, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
